FRANKFURT STOCK EXCHANGE
The FWB Frankfurter Wertpapierbörse is one of the world's largest trading centers for securities. It is able to meet the steadily growing requirements of cross-border trading. Besides traditional floor trading, it has in Xetra one of the leading electronic trading platforms in the world. Today, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange is an international trading center: some 140 of around 300 market participants come from abroad. The main index is the XETRA DAX (The Deutscher Aktienindex). The Dax is a blue chip index for the price of shares quoted on the German Stock Exchange and lists the 30 top major German companies.
